Regular check-ups – cleaning, x-rays, and an exam – are the foundation of our practice. Your initial visit to our practice is the start of us getting to know you as a patient, you getting to know Dr. Bode and the staff, us beginning to understand your needs and wants as a patient, and establishing a good rapport. Our relationships with our patients is just as important as providing the highest quality care. For anxious patients, we offer centralized nitrous-oxide to help you fully relax. For more fearful and/or dental phobic patients, oral sedation is available.
During your first visit, we will take a panoramic x-ray and bitewings. We take digital x-rays, which reduces your exposure to radiation by up to 70%. Dr. Bode will perform a comprehensive exam. The comprehensive exam includes digital photographs using an intraoral camera, which we use as a visual aid and to digitally document your tooth conditions. The comprehensive exam not only includes an exam of your teeth, but also an exam of the soft-tissue, bone, and all other intraoral tissues. We will take the time to listen to all of your needs, wants, and concerns. We will then outline a comprehensive treatment plan that will include all of your options and available payment plans.
